Tony Grove to White Pine to Bunch Grass cont.
Left to right: Chad, Reese, Anson (El Loco) and Mike.
L to R: Mike, Morey, Chad, and Anson.
Where Reese started to "Huff and Puff"
During the climb to White Pine
Anson
Life is never boring with Anson around. My kids think he is a hometown celebrity.
Yes, in the video Anson is on a log riding his bike 3ft off the ground.

Yes, this is Anson jumping off a tracker trailer.
Crossing the River King
See Chad win the 'Crossing the river' without falling award.
Chad was proud to be the only one to cross without putting his foot down. Reese may have an issue with all this....yet, the video does show his foot coming down at the end...thus, eliminating him from contention.
For those who want to question the results...here is Reese T's video.
Note his right foot at the last.

Video of the 'Encounter' with a wanna be "John Wayne"
Just riding a long... minding our own business on the Bunch Grass trail when the unexpected happens!! ...........................We get chewed out by "John Wayne" and receive a lesson on trail etiquette from the cowboy perspective..........
--something about 75 feet and .....and watch out for the Lone Ranger and Tanto!
I think this cowboy sniffed one too many cowpies on the farm.....

A small celebration after the first (of many) rainfall.
Layne, Ammon (doing the 'stop the rain dance'), Reese, Jeremy and Dan.
We can't have a real ride without Bike Problems can we?.................
Thanks to Steve we were able to ride in Style!!!!!!!!

Reese is good for at least 1 breakdown a trip.
Reese (again).....#2 breakdown....
Jeremy working on Dan's bike......
Ammon (way down there) checking it out before we 'venture' in....
View from the trail.... I don't recommend this trail with biking shoes on your feet. Way slippery!!
Chad, Dan and Reese exploring the slot canyon...
The slot canyon is right across from this sign.
Just a sampling of the scenery...
This trail isn't for the wimpy.......
Lunch on day 1. Hogie sandwiches, chips, drinks, and cookies...
Here is footage of us passing through the Candlestick Campground. This is 3/4 of the way through day 1. What we didn't know ..was we still had 20+ miles and we were headed right into a rainstorm that dropped temperatures 20 degrees and put us at a standstill for 30-45 minutes.... by the time we got to camp...we were WET and COLD.
Gemini Bridges Trail..
There is a reason... I am sitting away from the edge.....(far left).....see next photo.
.......don't look down......
BARTLETT WASH:
The last stop (trail) prior to going home.
Here is video of the 'winner' (Layne) who acheived the highest marking point. Notice at the end of the video Ammon. He wasn't happy about it.
